The Sanctuary Memorials Process

Our comprehensive process begins with a compassionate consultation, during which we discover your vision for this important memorial. We are here to listen to your specific requests and any lingering concerns you may have, in order to deliver a truly meaningful tribute.

We will work alongside you to select the design, details and inscriptions you feel are best suited to the departed’s treasured memory. After this, our professional artists will create a customised image that embodies your loved one.

Once you have reviewed the design, our experienced stonemasons will begin constructing the headstone. Using the utmost care and precision, this process takes between 6–8 weeks.

While you await the finished headstone, all visual elements will be completed. These will be promptly added to the final creation, after which the monument will be immediately shipped to your chosen location.

Expert Installation Services

Our experienced Wellington installation professionals will install your tribute at the burial site prior to your chosen unveiling date.

If you wish to add additional inscriptions at a later time, our local installer will be pleased to assist.

Cultural Factors

At Sanctuary Memorials, we work closely with you, your family, caretakers and local council to ensure any cultural traditions are followed during the installation process.

Although not always possible, we make every effort to add further inscriptions to your monument without moving it from the Cemetery or Urupā.
