    Our Process

    Daniel 3 & Green Koru Headstone

    Our creative team will work with you to navigate the process of deciding on the monument design that best reflects the life led and the personality of your loved one. Together, we will explore all the options available to you.

    After our initial discussion, our artist will create a drawing so that you can be certain we have captured your vision. Once you are sure we understand your needs, our expert stonemasons will construct your customised headstone – this takes around 6-8 weeks.

    Over this period, the artistic, photographic, and written portions of the work will be completed so that when the monument is ready, the proofed materials can be added, and the monument moved forward for shipping to our professional Northland team, who will carry out the installation.

    Customised Headstones Supplied & Installed

    At Sanctuary Memorials, we are here to help you secure the headstone or memorial plaque that best honours your loved one and captures the essence of what they mean to you.

    We can guide and support you throughout the entire process of designing and creating your tribute. This can be done at one of our Auckland locations, or we can meet with you online or over the telephone – whatever works best for you.

    Honouring Your Loved One’s Resting Place

    Sanctuary Memorials understands that when you need a headstone delivered and installed, cultural traditions may need to be considered. We work with caretakers, families, and councils to observe traditions, boundaries, and regulations.

    Where possible, adding an inscription to a monument can be done on-site. While this is not always possible, every effort is made so that your loved one’s monument is not removed from the Urupā or Cemetery.
